Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge extra for e-commerce?

No. E-commerce is part of your subscription fee, and therefore we do not charge for it. You may launch with e-commerce, or wait until post-launch. The choice is yours. We do recommend launching with at least a memo-cart enabled providing a convenient way for both you and your customer to engage in a conversation. 

How much does support cost?

Support at the basic level is free, which includes 1-2 support tickets a month, with the understanding that right after post-launch you may have more questions than later on. If you expect to use support frequently, or we notice an abnormal amount of support tickets being issued, we will recommend an additional paid support plan. Please call your Sales Rep for more information.

How much do new features cost?

This is a three prong answer. All features that are included, are included at no additional cost. If you are requesting a custom feature, we may reduce or waive the fee based on the complexity, and/or the amount of users who will benefit from the feature. Some features on the other hand, are delivered in part by a third party. Please refer to the Pricing page for more information.

Is there an annual contract?

The Thinkspace Master Subscription agreement is only signed once, and will perpetuate throughout your subscription. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy is updated from time to time, and you will be notified of those occurences. 

Can I customize my theme-based website?

Yes, to an extent. There are no one-on-one design hours allocated to Silver website projects so you must work within the website options to make customizations. We do provide an extensive library of stock imagery for you to choose from, as well as allow some basic widget-swapping, feature on/off toggles, color changes and font modifications. No matter the type of project, we also perform several QA tests pre-website launch.

If I pick a theme and want to change it later, can I do that?

You can change your theme at any point. Now, if you wish to change your theme after nearly all of your content has been added pre-launch, this will result in an extra fee, and an extended launch time. All themes are different, each highlighting different features, and ultimately a different design. If you are the typical client wishing to change your theme after the typical two year mark, this may result in an additional fee. Please contact your Sales Rep for information. 

I have a new feature request.

If you have a new feature request, we ask you to send this over to support@thinkspacehq.com. All features are weighed by the amount of users who will benefit from its functionality. If the feature is simple to implement and will be used by many, we will most likely implement this right away. If the request takes a bit more effort, this will be available in the next release. All platform releases and versions are free. If you need your feature immediately, please send us an email or contact your Sales Rep. 

When wil my subscription start?

Your subscription starts the day you sign the Thinkspace Master Subscripton Agreement. We do not charge the monthly fee until the project is launched, unless issues arise. The most common issues involve postponing and/or spending months in the project process past the agreed upon launch date. 

What do we track as conversions?

You should be tracking wish lists, orders, appointments, reviews, contact form submissions, product inquiries, calls, newsletter subscriptions and more. The good news is you can find this information in Google Analytics. If you have any questions about how to access your Analytics account, please contact support@thinkspacehq.com.

What sort of digital marketing should I use?

The short answer is that marketing consumer goods today is omnichannel, meaning that you should do it all. But this does not have to be overwhelming and we've developed a tried and true approach to helping jewelers navigate the online marketing channels by focusing on the strategies that foster website engagement and in-store activity. We look at our clients' needs holistically and for each client, there is a slightly different approach based on their needs and objectives. 

Are Thinkspace websites optimized for Google?

In short, yes. All of our websites are optimized for Google and all the major search engines. Anything less would be counter-productive to your website growth and marketing efforts. By keeping up with today's accepted standards and best practices, we are able to offer the latest advancements and techniques to all of our customers. Our marketing services are further designed to keep you well ahead of the curve ensuring strong customer engagement for both prospective and current customers.

Is Thinksapce a Google Partner?

Yes, Thinkspace is a Google Partner and we manage more than $700,000 in Google ad spending each year! Our Google Partner status is renewed every year so that we are constantly keeping up with new Google products and improving our ad campaign strategies.

Do meta keywords matter?

All major search engines no longer use meta keywords as a ranking signal. Therefore, we have disabled the feature in Thinkspace. Using meta keywords can only hurt you as you're only making it easy for your competitors to see what you want to rank for without the benefit of actually ranking.

Why are the phone numbers changing on my website?

If you are using a call tracking service, such as the one we recommend called CallRail, you will see different tracking numbers based on the source of the call. It allows you to attribute the source of the call using dynamic number insertion. The phone numbers are routed to the respective local number. If you're still in doubt, test it out by calling the number shown.
